Volunteer Courier required for our minibus shuttle taking people to lunch clubs and shopping - helping people on / off the bus, carrying shopping etc.
Can you spare as little as half an hour a week to befriend the lonely and isolated?
To give carers a break from their by spending 2-4 hours with the person cared for.
Bendrigg Trust Volunteer
We have several options for people to get involved with volunteering at Bendrigg including :
Residential – working alongside our groups on activities
Working Party – coming as a group for the day to support with maintenance projects

Volunteer Buddy for Young People
The aim of this project is to build up a network of volunteer Buddies who can provide that extra, low level support for young people exiting specialist support services, or who have been identified as someone who would benefit from the support of a Buddy.
Step Into Action Wellbeing Hub & Cafe Volunteer
Volunteer required to support activities and signposting for clients in need. This is a face to face role supporting adults out of hours on Friday evening and/or Saturday Afternoons
Stewards check tickets on entry to shows, make sure that all theatre-goers can find their seats, sell ice-creams during the interval, and help to make the ‘Victoria Hall experience’ the very best it can be.
Victoria Bar runs on almost every show night, selling a wide range of bottled beers, lagers, ciders, wine, and soft drinks, as well as snacks.
Box Office Volunteers
Box office volunteers sell tickets for our shows and events, answer the phones, and occasionally help with other office duties.
Community Centre Trustee - Greatwood and Horseclose
Do you want to help maintain the community centre and help it grow?
This role involves working alongside the existing trustees to help run the community centre and support local residents.
Training available if required
Help to maintain a beautiful green space at the Greatwood and Horseclose community centre for the local residents
Estate Echo Editor
Coordinating content for the newsletter which goes out 3 times a year, maintaining contact with regular contributors and locating new ones, as well as collating the articles and other content to the final edition ready for printing
Scoff Café assistant
Help run the fantastic café which runs Tuesdays at the community centre. Timings are approximately 10am till 2pm, but this can be flexible if needed.
Social Media Coordinator - Greatwood & Horseclose
Join the team as the social face of the community centre!
