The Blue Badge scheme aims to support people with severe mobility problems to access services and facilities by enabling them to park as close as possible to their destination. Our Officers provide practical assistance to apply fpor a Blue Badge.
Budgeting Advice Service
We recognise that being able to budget effectively is equally as important as having income maximised, as both aspects are required in order to ensure that older people are financially able to live safe, warm and independent lives.

Supporting people back into employment- CADAS BBO workers can work with people for up to 1 year, with the longer term view to enable them to gain skills and confidence to enter back into employment

The Community Care system can be daunting and difficult for some older people to navigate at times, which is why our trained Officers are here to provide information, advice and guidance to ensure that older people get the support they require.
Debt Advice Service
Our Officers provide the vital debt advice in a friendly an impartial manner for those older people who may find themselves in this situation.
Digital Engagement Project & Tablet Loan Service
Helping our Clients become digitally connected by offering IT drop in sessions supported by volunteers, we provide a free three month tablet loan.
Nowadays, Digital Skills are some of the most important skills you can learn. We run several ICT related courses, from iPad courses right up to a ‘Functional Skills – ICT Level 1’ qualification – there is something for everyone.
Employability Support Services
Our Employability courses can support you to secure and sustain work.
We offer workshops such as confidence building and CV writing, alongside helping you gain qualifications, including our Award in Food Safety in Catering Level 2.
Escape Pain - Arthritis Pain Management
Escape Pain is a rehabilitation programme for people with chronic joint pain in the knees and/or hips that integrates education, self-management and coping strategies with a suitable exercise regime.
