Role Description
We provide help for those who dont drive and are unable to access public transport. This could be dropping people off in the town, for a medical appointment, or hospital visit. The hours you work are up to you - we are grateful for whatever time you can spare.
The Community Car Scheme supports those living in Northallerton & Bedale. Volunteer drivers provide transport using their own vehicles, but we do also have an electric vehicle available to use (with appropriate training). Volunteers can claim expenses from their home and back and are covered by our insurance.

You will need a clean, valid, drivers licence and have a DBS check. You will be given a full induction and need to attend some training sessions before starting.
