As part of our holistic support Officers provide information, advice and practical assistance in ensuring that older people have an understanding regarding their energy provider, usage and switching providers to save money on their bills.

We also assist throughout the whole process of switching providers if an older person doesn't feel able or confident to do so independently. We provide advice in regards to keeping the home as energy efficient as possible in order to reduce energy usage through the installation of draught proofing aids and adaptations. We can often provide and install the relevant equipment free of charge following the Officer's recommendations.
