Age UK South Cumbria is a leading charity dedicated to supporting older people in the South Cumbria area. We provide a wide range of services to enhance the lives of older individuals, promoting independence and enabling access to vital information and support.

We currently have a vacancy for a Store Manager to manage our new charity store soon to open on Roose Road, Barrow-in-Furness.

The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Managing the effective operation and the day to day running of the store
Managing and training store associates and volunteers
Conducting staff appraisals with store associates
Maintaining effective stock management and merchandising
Responsibility for optimising sales
Carrying out shop administration

This is a Full-time position up to 35 hours per week (5 days over 7) and will involve some weekends.
