Role Description
Young onset dementia is dementia that begins before the age of 65. Dementia Forward has three successful outward bound groups in North Yorkshire and is starting a new one in the Craven area. Volunteers are needed to support the group from when they are collected in the minibus, while they take part in activities during the day, until they are dropped back off. It's a full day out, but good fun, very rewarding and makes a big difference to those who come along. The group will be run by two trained members of staff.

Please email or call to find out more. We will then organise to meet you to find out about you and to explain more about the role. There is some paperwork to complete and you will need to provide two referees and undergo a DBS check. An induction, which covers Dementia Awareness, will be offered.
