Settle Victoria Hall has a very busy programme of over 170 shows and events every year, ranging through cinema, theatre, comedy, talks, and music of every kind. We need volunteer stewards to be the friendly face of Victoria Hall at our shows and concerts. As the world's oldest music hall, we've served Settle and the surrounding area as a hub for music, culture, and community events since 1853, and we rely on our amazing volunteer team to help keep our beautiful little Music Hall thriving into the future.
Stewards check tickets on entry to shows, make sure that all theatre-goers can find their seats, sell ice-creams during the interval, and help to make the ‘Victoria Hall experience’ the very best it can be. Volunteer stewards are required to be on hand from doors opening and stay through to help clear up after the end of the show, but there's no minimum commitment- once you've completed volunteer training, you can sign up for the shows that suit you as and when you like.
