To give carers of a partner, family member or friend, the opportunity to have a break from their caring commitments by spending 2-4 hours with the person they are caring for. This might be in or outside of the home, on a regular or occasional basis during the day, evening or weekend. It might involve going for a walk, taking them for a coffee or simply having a chat about shared interests.
It will not involve personal care or lifting.
