Telephone Adviser - Closing date Friday 08 Jan 2021
You will be responsible for interviewing our clients who seek our help! Problems with paying bills, dealing with a landlord, or getting access to maternity rights; you will sort it all. You don’t need to know the answers, but you must be able to quickly grasp a client’s query and get the help sorted.
You will need:
• Understanding and commitment to the aims & principles of Citizens Advice
• A pleasant telephone manner
• Good listening skills
• Excellent keyboard and website navigation skills
• To remain calm under pressure
• An ability to deal sensitively with clients from all background
What will I do?
• Interview clients on the phone
• Establish what the client wants
• Access clients capability & identify key facts
• Research clients query on our information system
• Share & explain information to clients understanding
• Complete case records
