By Your Side offers support for people who are not eligible for statutory help. We aim to support people to get the best out of health and welfare appointments, ensuring they feel heard and understood. This is a free service.

Community Car Scheme

The Community Car Scheme helps people who are unable to access public transport in Northallerton, Bedale and surrounding villages.
Community Car Scheme users may have mobility difficulties, a disability or live in a remote, rural area.

Digital Champions

Hambleton Community Action’s Digital Champion service is here to support people increase their digital skills, get online and to stay safe online.

Outside the Wire

Supporting ex military personnel, their spouses and family members during and after military life.

Shopping Angels

A Shopping Angels volunteer will provide transport to and from the shops, help read labels, reach for items and help pack/unpack bags, etc.
