We have several services running specifically to help people during the COVID outbreak. We have an Independence support group and phone befriending to help anyone who is feeling lonely or isolated. We have an information and advice available. We also have resources such as craft material, large print books and audio books, painting materials, crossword and puzzle books and jigsaw puzzles. We can deliver these to people.
We are continuing to offer Free and impartial Information and advice on a wide range of matters. We can provide signposting or referrals into other organisations such as social care, how to access aids and adaptations, warm and well etc. We help completing complicated benefit forms, support to apply online to obtain a Blue badge or a bus pass. We are not currently offering face to face support but can still offer a telephone service to complete Attendance Allowance forms and carry out benefit checks.
We have copies of a vast number of information guides and factsheets which may be helpful, for example, Avoiding Scams, Care home checklist, In the driving seat, Caring for someone with Dementia, Dealing with Debt, etc.
