We believe in the potential of people
SJOG believes that every person has intrinsic worth and inherent dignity, and that with the right support each and every person can achieve their potential.
We don’t have one standard approach but creatively provide help and support to people in the way they want and to meet people’s needs, wishes and aspirations.
Every day we say ‘come in, you are very welcome’ and every day we are inspired by the strength, humanity and hospitality of the people that we work alongside.
Our services include:
Modern Day Slavery: we provide accommodation and outreach services to support victims of trafficking or modern day slavery. Safe-houses provide a safe space and a supportive environment with specialist support to help people rehabilitate and recover from their experiences.
Homeless: SJOG supports people who are homeless by offering accommodation to provide a place of safety, warmth and hospitality.
Disability: We provide expert care and support to meet the needs and support the aspirations of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex needs.
Autism: we ensure that we support each person with a diagnosis of autism with a unique person-centred approach focusing on meaningful outcomes and quality of life.
We also offer support for older people with dementia and the wider community and general.
