For over 60 years we have been your local independent charity supporting and campaigning for people of all ages with learning disabilities, their parents and carers.

We organise a range of activities such as art groups, cookery classes, games and events.
At Monday Club we cook, debate, learn and most importantly have fun!
The Lunchables is a group that meets monthly to review and eat in local restaurants and cafes in Northallerton. We usually meet on Thursdays.
Mencap Drop In meets weekly on Wednesdays at the Goosecroft Centre. Friends come along to meet socially and to take part in crafts, games and other activities in the morning. In the afternoon there are organised activities such as Boccia, Bingo and Karaoke.
Goosecroft Arts meets on Tuesdays from 10am to 3pm at Goosecroft Centre.

We always require volunteers to come and help us.
