We are a small volunteer led charity that aims to provide a supportive befriending and information service to parents, carers with children with any disability or SEN, with or without a diagnosis and those who work with these special children.
We empower parents to support each other through regular peer support groups in Bedale, Northallerton, Thirsk and Richmond. These often include a range of fun and relaxing activities offering some much needed `me time'.
We listen and respond to the needs of parent carers and arrange speakers and training on key issues, strategies and offer practical family support. We provide information to help parents access services and ensure the parent carer voice is heard.
