Are you interested in learning about the key role forensics plays in catching and convicting criminals?
This short course offers an introduction to Forensics and how it is used to gather evidence from a crime scene; used in investigations; and presented as evidence in the Court Room.
During the course, relevant and topical examples are used offering you the opportunity to engage in class analysis.
By the end of this course you should:
Develop an understanding of how a crime scene is evaluated and some of the analytical techniques required for an analysis of the evidence.
Gain knowledge of some ways forensic science and forensic psychology support criminal investigations.
Develop an appreciation of both the strengths and limitations of an adversarial judicial system in giving forensic evidence.
