Together We Talk- Empowering People to take control over their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
What we offer:
Together we talk offers 1:1 and group work. One to one work includes mental health support, counselling and CBT we help individuals take back control over their health and wellbeing. We also have other services including physical fitness and post natal services which we link with.
Who are we:
Talk support practitioners: we have experience in delivering lots of different support, including mental health support, wellness recovery action planning, problem solving, check ins and much more.
Mental Health and Low intensity CBT Practitioners: offering a wide range of support including low intensive CBT, mindful activities, body image/self esteem work and support from severe and enduring mental health.
Talk Counsellors: Offering BACP counselling focussed on the person.
How to refer:
We accept referrals from all sources (self, GP and other) and in person, via our referral form www.togetherwe.co.uk/referral, telephone or email [email protected]. Telephone number 08081961773
We will call you within 48 working hours to take information about you and your problem and aim to have an assessment booked within 7 days.
What does the assessment look like:
We assess everyone that is referred to the service either by phone, face to face or even at home. Venues are in lots of locations and we aim to get you to a location near you.
We will ask you about your main problem, how it affects you, information about risk, goals and will make a plan with you around the next steps.
We may also use some questionnaires to establish level of mood and impact on day to day living.
Who we see:
We will see anyone from ages 11-65+ years old, we will see families, carers, school attenders etc.
You may be engaging in other services however if you are having a course of psychological treatment like counselling or CBT we may encourage you to attend group work or work with our talk support practitioners so we don’t affect the intervention and its principles.
We aim to provide a responsive and flexible service to our service users. As part of our service we will monitor risk and may refer you onto other services.

One off worshops including:
Understanding panic
Beating depression
Understanding mental health and your weight.
