Our trained Trusted Assessors visit clients within their own homes to identify their wishes, abilities and limitations before completing a task analysis and environment assessment before using this to inform their advice and recommendations for solutions to enable them to perform the tasks that they wish to carry out within their homes.
Trusted Assessors may help clients to adapt a task, suggest adaptive equipment or suggest alterations to the physical environment.
Whilst we do not undertake any of the works required in installing the recommended aids or adaptations, the Trusted Assessors will provide the relevant measurements and help to source the equipment most suited to the client’s needs.
Our Trusted Assessors work closely with Statutory Services, Health Professionals and Local Councils to ensure that each client is given the support they require over and above the Trusted Assessor remit. By referring clients to low-cost Handy Person Schemes for the installation of aids such as hand rails, and sourcing grant funding for the cost of the equipment where applicable, we ensure that clients’ needs are fully met regardless of their situation.
