. To support St Mary’s Hospice’s Fundraising and Marketing teams with administrative, digital and data driven communication activities. This role requires digital expertise, exceptional people skills, an eye for detail and a passion for the work St Mary’s does. This role will be a key role in strengthening St Mary’s digital activity. The post holder will be responsible for supporting both our Marketing and Fundraising teams who work closely together to raise the profile and generate support for St Mary’s.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Tasks
Update the intranet with general marketing and fundraising news
Update website/social media content with supplied information and approved images as agreed
Support creation and delivery of e-marketing communications including videos
Assist in providing data to support analysis and projects
Work alongside Line Manager to develop Search Engine Optimisation strategies
Admin Tasks
Managing images – ensure filed and compliant – consent and permissions in place
File press articles and record our presence in the press
Communication
Build relationships with our supporters across agreed digital and social media platforms.
Attend Marketing and Fundraising Team meetings.
Follow up telephone enquiries
Fundraising
Help with general fundraising project tasks
Build relationships with our donors and offer support over a period of time
Provide support for events run by the community
Be responsible for our collection tins within the community.
To contribute to the Fundraising Team by taking advantage of ideas and opportunities
Organise our raffle prizes
Record Fundraising activities on our database
